Privacy policy

Random conversations are designed to be limited and safety-conscious. We collect and retain information needed to operate matching, messaging, account features, abuse prevention and moderation.

Last updated August 7, 2026. This product policy should be reviewed with qualified counsel for your operating jurisdictions.

Identity, age assurance and matching

We store the minimum identity and age-assurance state needed to run the service. Male/Female is selected when an account or guest identity is created and is then locked for that identity. Precise location is not required for random matching.

Random and friend conversations

Messages are processed and may be retained according to the service retention and safety policy. Friend/direct conversations are associated with registered accounts. Random-chat sessions can retain limited history and identifiers so the service can deliver messages, prevent rematching after blocks, investigate abuse and preserve report evidence.

Photos and voice notes

Registered friends can share private photos and voice notes. Supported random chats can also use short voice notes, including guest sessions. Media is stored privately and served through protected or short-lived signed access. Images are re-encoded where practical to reduce embedded metadata such as GPS information.

Notifications

Registered accounts may receive in-app notifications for direct messages, friend requests and friend-request acceptance. Notification records contain only the information needed to route the alert and a short preview; private media URLs are not stored in notification payloads.

Blocking, reports and moderation

Blocks, cooldowns, reports and moderation actions may retain identifiers and bounded evidence to prevent further contact and investigate harm. Authorized moderators or administrators may review reported conversations, related media, or a deliberately requested conversation when necessary for safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance or support. Access to private moderation content is restricted and audited.

Administrator access

Administrative tools do not expose passwords, password hashes, access tokens or refresh tokens. Private chats and uploads are not published or offered as a browse-all public gallery. Moderator access is server-authorized, and sensitive content access is logged for accountability.
